Online dating used to be sad; you didn't go looking for a partner or even a fling that obvious, did you? Times have changed; it's actually cool to use Tinder now. And fun. A big pitfall is to keep talking via Tinder for too long. That takes a lot of time and in doing so, you limit the topics of conversation during your date. After a few days, just meet up and see what happens. That's much more fun and efficient.
Plan your date well in advance
To fit a date into your busy life, it's best to schedule it at least a week in advance. Also make sure you pick a practical time, so not an hour after an important meeting or on the night before a deadline. Planning is the key to efficiency, again. Put the appointment clearly in your calendar and make sure you check how long it is to travel to the place of the date.
Set priorities
Desperately looking for the love of your life or just looking for a dabble or someone to show you around town? Consider how important dating is to you versus your business and friends. Set priorities: cancel the date with a potential schmuck when someone offers you a wonderful last-minute freelance opportunity. Again, has everything to do with efficiency.
Don't waste time if you're not interested
Of course it's annoying when your date disappoints. But be honest. Don't string the person along, because that's not fair to them. And it also costs you a lot of time and energy. Not a smart plan when you're already so busy. So think about the heart of the person you had a date with and your precious time & cut it off nicely.
