Interview Claudia: "I guide mercilessly but lovingly."

You have ambition. You want to continue to grow as an entrepreneur. I get it. However, this next step is a level up. One that is inextricably linked to taking on a coach. A business coach. Someone who gives you just that push in the right direction. Claudia is such a person. Why a coach really should not be missing when growing your business, you can read in this interview.

About Claudia as a business coach

Claudia (along with Yvonne) has been helping many entrepreneurs since she started her company, the Boost Factory. Especially starting entrepreneurs. Particularly with successful and relaxed entrepreneurship. But why did she start this? "When I started the company and wanted to gain knowledge it was in many different places. There was not one place where you can learn the basics for your business and certainly not in combination with personal development - which in my opinion is very strange because you are your business and you always bring yourself along. With all the obstacles and beliefs. One is inseparable from the other."

"The goal of my company is to give entrepreneurs a great start full of confidence and with a solid foundation."

She's got a point! Knowing who you are. And knowing what your business is all about. In what exactly does a business coach contribute to that? "The goal of my business is to give entrepreneurs a great (re)start full of confidence and with a solid foundation." A full-fledged answer if you ask me. What does she do as a business coach, what does a day look like? "I provide coaching and business training. The training sessions I do once every two weeks and other days I coach 1 or 2 entrepreneurs 1/1 or online. I also plan workshops and give my attention to promoting my services through marketing."

Every coach has a coach

A coach who needs a coach. Isn't that a bit ... weak? Maybe not. Let's get rid of the taboo on coaching once and for all. Making yourself vulnerable is power. Strength is power. How does Claudia view "admitting you're not doing well" being seen as weakness? "Tiring it seems to me. On the contrary, I think that if you dare to make yourself vulnerable and show yourself that's exactly where you connect with others. As my mother always says: I rest my case.

But while we're nice about breaking taboos, how about "anyone can be a coach these days? It is these stories that are not very positive for the reputation of coaches. "Bad and good stories you hear all the time and everywhere. I rely on my own reviews from my participants. That's what counts for me."

"I am me and therefore always unique."

Certainly true, yet competition in the coaching field is cutthroat. "If you start from your own strengths, there is enough for everyone. Also has to do with abundance thought. Every coach can use a coach so in that respect." And what then is your own strength? "I am me and therefore always unique. I can balance the business and personal very well." Furthermore, Claudia focuses specifically on entrepreneurial women. "This is a target group I know well and recognize. I can empathize well with this group and know what they are up against and how their brain works."

Why taking a coach works

Now that we've settled the taboos once and for all, I'd like to hear one more time why people should get a coach. I give the floor to Claudia. "One of the lessons of successful people is to make yourself a priority. Know yourself, know how you are put together. This is going to help you in your life and your business life. Changing your perspective can change your life." And that's where you come in. "Haha, hopefully it does. No, no kidding. When at the end of a journey I see the person beaming because she knows what she and her business stand for, powerfully and with tremendous drive, then I am really proud. If more people really have the guts to do what they love most, the world will become a more beautiful place. Isn't that wonderful?"

Tips from a coach

Enough convincing it seems to me. But for anyone who needs to hear it one more time, what message do you want to give to people who still have doubts about taking a coach? Claudia summarizes:

  1. Explore
  2. Make an appointment
  3. Go experience and feel well if there is a match
  4. Now you have your answer

Simple as that. The Boost Factory is nationally known and many a start-up knows this is the place to be for quality and a flying start. There is no doubt that a bright future awaits her company. Should you also see Claudia as adding value please note: "I will guide you mercilessly but lovingly, because ... I am me."
